"Pro-Pro is the spiritual successor to my ANTI-ANTI LP; abrasive, raw and in some places shy and retiring. If ANTI-ANTI is an advocation of midi, synth and chip tune music - invoking memories of early 2000's flash games - then Pro-Pro is a statement of hypocrisy; highlighting cold and calculated natures in sonic reproduction and synthesis.

In making Pro-Pro, I wanted to create a record that on the surface is cohesive yet yields an underlay of melancholy. Building on synths and sounds programmed for use in my Digital Autopsy release, I manipulated them to produce lightweight ambient tracks which are underpinned by glum melodies and themes. The track 'Bastard' is an example of this.

I'd like to thank several people who, whilst did not contribute directly to the album, helped me cognitively. The foremost of these people is Lukepi who without, I would not have had the inspiration and drive to finish this album. Secondly, I thank those closest to me who took the time to listen to the album including loved ones and family members. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, I'd like to give huge thanks to Nathan of Neetspeak Records for giving me an outlet for the album. Nathan's optimism and continued support over the past two/three months has rendered me able to continue pursuing a hobby that I love. Thank you for listening. If you liked it, thanks ever so much! The sort of music that is beyond time. The sort of music that you feel more than you hear. I love the fact that vaporwave/dreampunk projects like these have such extremely evocative aesthetics they directly fill your mind with sensations you didn't know you had. You'd maybe think it relies on that solely, but it's coupled with gorgeous musicianship + intense production ideas. The volume and spaces it creates just pull you in instantly whatever your initial mood was. Still stunning to this day. SUPRAQUENCER
